In Praha!

So yesterday was a bit of a long journey. The flight from LAX to Zurich took about 11 hours and 20 min. And all in all, it wasn't a bad flight. It was on time, efficient, and normal. ahahahah nothing to rave about. So I had about a 1.5 hour lay over in Switzerland and then headed off to Prague. When I landed there were so few people in the airport. It was seriously pretty much empty. So I took the directions that my classmates left us so we could get to our hotel easily.

That's where it got tricky.

Once I got outside the airport, everything was spoken and written in Czech. So finding stops and making transfers was a bit of being smart and getting lucky. It was seriously so difficult to hear the stops on the light rails. They use the same kind of trams that they have in SF, or really similar. Anyway so they didn't have any digital signs to tell your what stop they were at so I had to ask an older man where we were along the route, and where my transfer spot was. Luckily he spoke English and was extremely helpful and nice.

Hmm... I have a problem. Looks like I don't have battery power anymore! my stupid power converter does not adapt to the laptop AC adapter so i need to go out and buy one that works today!

Alright I'll post later, but at least I'm safe in Prague! Ta ta!

Day Before the Flight

Well tomorrow is my flight to Praha (Prague) on Swiss Air! =D It's going to be crazy flying solo across the Atlantic to an entire different country. I hope it's not to cold when I get to Prague. When I get there it'll be the end of a storm which they've had for a couple of days. The high is supposed to be 54 when I get there which isn't so bad.

I'm going to be traveling pretty lightly. My internal frame backpack only weighs about 35 lbs, and I'm taking my day pack which has all my art supplies, camera, and Mai-Chi's GoB laptop. Yeah so when I'm in Europe and I'm online, I'll constantly be thanking Mai-Chi for letting me borrow her mini laptop.

Anyway, hopefully I'll be able to update everyone pretty regularly with pictures and stuff. Oh and I have skype too so hit me up on skype! =)

I'll update you next when i'm in Europe!
