By now I have a fairly good grasp on the tram system and can move around the core of the city with a fair amount of confidence. Since this post will recap a lot of what's gone on in the past week, my writing is going to be all over the place, and it won't be any specific order.
SO! If you are ready to join me in my ramblings, here we go!
Let's see, the first day after arriving in Praha, (Prague) we all met for a morning meeting and eventually made our way to Petrin Hill. Petrin hill is across the Vltava River, and sort of adjacent to Prague Castle. In anycase it's a nice open space where many people take strolls and get a fantastic view of the city. Actually it's said that the best view of Prague is from the Eiffel Tower that is constructed atop the hill. It's not actually a replica of the one in France, but it's the same hight and built by Eiffel himself. Meh, so they call it the Eiffel Tower, but it's not that impressive.
We didn't go up to the top because it cost money to get in, but maybe I'll do it on my own.
The first picture is the entrance to Petrin Hill. On either side of the walk way are massive walls from the midevil period when the area was first established. It's interesting because the walls are not perpendicular to the ground with a flat face. The walls are actually slanted with a very large and heavy looking base. These are pictures from Petrin Hill where we decided to sit and sketch.

And this is a picture of me in the mirror maze! o0o0o0o0oo!

So when we were sketching... it seriously dropped 10 degrees to like 40 and I was freezing my ass off! Like five minutes into the sketch I was soooo over it. Ok I feel Like this is a long enough post for now. Sooo. We'll stop there. Well I'll update more later! There is so much to tell!
